Lenin lived, Lenin is alive, Lenin will live forever.
With a sharp rise of the hand of the revolutionary TV reporter Pavel Lobkov, the world has initially discovered the sacraments of the incorruptibility of Lenin's body: once every 4 months. Then Lenin is changed, and appears back in the mausoleum – as if alive. This “revival” is a rather expensive procedure that costs decent money – about 12 000 000 rubles annually needed for the maintenance of Lenin’s body.

In our world of jackals, this amount can be a rather serious burden for a small cultural institution with 1 exhibit – 1 hero in the center, albeit located on the main square of the country. This world is driven not only by financial flows and image, but also by the conversion of symbolic capital, which Lenin has in abundance, so he cannot be burned or buried.

We propose to monetize the dressing up of Lenin. He will be draped in fashionable clothes of reputable world brands – Kiton, Prada, Tom Ford, Margiela, Dries Van Noten, Louis Vuitton, Jacques Brel and Amelie Nothomb will compete to dress Lenin in their clothes for the new season.

A crypto-religious community of "faithful Leninists" will be founded, which will ensure respect for the body of the party leader and guarantee that the financial resources consumed by the project are correctly distributed. The project is developed dynamically until the resources run out. When the symbolic capital of Lenin dries up, it will be possible to safely advance both from Lenin and from the mausoleum. No one will notice in the dust that was brushed off of Dolce and Gabbana suit the remains of the world revolution leader.

The ritual of turning over the dead is common among the mountain tribes of the Mirena and Betsileo in Madagascar, it's called famadihana. In this process the bodies of the deceased gradually dissolve, connecting with the cosmos. Besides turning over and changing the clothes of the ancestors, the ritual includes dancing and squeezing the incorruptible dead in loving arms. This part of the famadikhana in our project is transformed with replacing the dance in pairs with a round dance, which is more common in Russia.
