The territory of the former BELAZ repair shop is located on the border of the city and on the edge of the Karagai quarry. This territory has practically been taken out of the economic circulation of the organization and has been used for several years as a place for city cultural events ("Orange Disco", a rock concert of a symphony orchestra, "My Satka"), being, however, not too adapted. The concept of development of the territory around the BELAZ repair shop "ANGAR 18" offers a set of solutions for the "humanization" of this piece of the industrial landscape, which makes it possible to ensure greater accessibility of the territory, make it attractive and adapted for individual leisure hours, as well as for organizing events of various sizes and formats.

To indicate belonging to Hangar 18, we use a color range that is completely absent in the environment. From lilac to magenta.

It becomes a means of access to the territory for the townspeople. The staircase changes its configuration, acquires platforms at the same time becoming points of view for citizens and guests of the city climbing along it. Ascent becomes more comfortable as marches and platforms are now under roof. Benches are installed along the entire length of the horizontal crossings. In the future, telescopes and a small stand exhibition dedicated to the history of the city can be linked on the platforms. Residents arriving to the territory of ANGAR 18 by personal transport can connect their cars at equipped parking areas bordering the top of the stairs, or at its foot, next to the improvised "propiley" of two BELAZ vehicles. Propylaea from BELAZ - give meaning and monumentality to the new staircase, at the same time hinting at the previous function of the Hangar. It is an external marker of a territory that emotionally connects it with the city.

Courdoner is the entrance square, through which you enter the territory. The service area is located here - the administrative block, bathrooms, cafes, workshops, circles, inventory point, event cash desk, locker rooms, storage rooms and other premises serving the public. Through the courtier, the viewer enters the Kozlovy parade ground - the main place of concentration of the territory's performance activities.

Adjacent to the Goat parade ground and a tribune for spectators of the events taking place on it.

The gantry crane is used as a mobile structural element for organizing the stage space of the square - hanging screens, backdrops and other decoration elements.

COLORED WOODEN SHELL

Provides protection of the amphitheater from precipitation. In the attic under the ridge there is a projection room, from which the process is controlled through the eye in the pediment.

STEEL CONSTRUCTION

The steel structure, made with the use of large-span trusses, allows for the widest view of the audience of the amphitheater.

BOARDWALK

The boardwalk is adapted for comfortable seating of spectators up to 300 people.

GABION AMPHITHEATER

The gabion amphitheater is the basis of the structure. Inside can be placed technical rooms and storage.

Small architectural forms in the territory using gabion structures. Seats, benches and flooring are wooden. Green landscaping is becoming its integral part.

The garden of stones and plants behind the hangar is a very important accent in the arrangement of an industrial territory in the past, which is changing its meaning and purpose. This is a rather distinct gesture that says – there was a plant here. And now there is a garden.
